Your First Visit to House of Chiropractic
No surprises. No pressure. Just a thorough look at what's going on — and an honest conversation about how we can help.
What Happens at Your First Visit
Your first appointment is designed to be unhurried and thorough. Here's what to expect:
1. Consultation & Health History
We start by listening. Dr. Harris will ask about your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, and goals. This isn't a checklist — it's a real conversation so she can understand the full picture before touching your spine.
2. Diagnostic X-Rays
We use X-rays as a window into your health. They reveal spinal misalignments, structural changes, and issues that aren't visible from the outside — like the patient who discovered she had an extra disc in her spine after years of undiagnosed back pain.
X-rays allow Dr. Harris to see exactly what's happening so your care plan is precise, not generic.
3. Comprehensive Exam
Dr. Harris performs a thorough orthopedic, neurological, and spinal exam to assess your alignment, nerve function, range of motion, and areas of concern.
Your Report of Findings
After your exam, Dr. Harris reviews your X-rays and exam results and walks you through everything she found. You'll see your own spine on screen and understand exactly what's contributing to your pain or dysfunction.
From there, she'll recommend a personalized care plan — which may include chiropractic adjustments, nervous system regulation, massage therapy, or cold laser therapy — based on what your body actually needs.
No cookie-cutter plans. No upselling. Just honest recommendations grounded in what the X-rays and exam show.
